DMCA / Copyright Policy
ClipGrab respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We do not host any video files — the service streams content directly from the source at the time of a user's request and does not retain copies. This policy explains how to report content accessed through ClipGrab that you believe infringes your copyright.
1. Notice-and-takedown (17 U.S.C. § 512, DMCA)
If you believe content accessible via ClipGrab infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to our designated agent containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g. the original source URL);
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Send notices to our designated DMCA agent at [dmca-agent-email@example.com]. Because ClipGrab does not store content, the most effective remedy is typically for the notice to be directed at the platform actually hosting the file (TikTok, X, or Facebook); we will nonetheless act on valid notices concerning our own service where applicable, which may include disabling resolution for the reported source URL.
2. Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice with your contact information, identification of the material and its prior location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, along with a consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal district court.
3. Repeat infringers
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for users who are the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices.
4. EU / UK equivalent
For rights holders outside the US, notices may also be submitted under the EU Digital Services Act's notice-and-action mechanism or equivalent local law, using the same contact address above. We aim to process such notices without undue delay.
